Robert's Equipment - Morning Sun landmark

Included just for the heck of it.

Morning Sun - downtown in early days

The sign on middle picture says "Williams Grocery Orange Crush".  If you are able to download picture and zoom in you will see that is Harold Wright sitting on the bench.  (Not sure about that last sentence but it sounds good).

John Calvin and Martha Jane Johnston Wright

This goes back approx (circa 1860)

John Calvin Wright would be Oliver McCLeod Wright's father.

John Calvin Wright born 4/22/1824 - died 2/5/1904
Martha Johnston Wright - died 2/5/1904 .  They married 10/9/1850

That would make him my great great grandpa (I think).  Lisa Wright Gault

Martha Johnston Wright was his second wife.  His first wife, Isabel Ramsey died in 1849.  (wonder what happened to her)

This couple had seven children.

Gilbert, John Calvin, Margaret, William, Elmer,  Oliver  (my great grandpa, born 2/20/1866-d 1/21/1946), Euros Cooper (put the middle name for Brian Wright.  Bet he didn't know he named Cooper after a relative.  Good job).

John Wright - my cousin resembles him don't you think?

CC & Bertha McCreary pic at McCreary Homestead

Clate Brown, Edgar McCreary, CC McCreary - back rown
Lois, Ina Brown, Bertha Brown McCreary, Mrs.Scott McQuown, Donald McQuown

I'm not sure where Ruth McCreary Wright would have been.  Maybe she snapped the picture.  Ruth sures looks like her mother, as I remember.

House in background is McCreary Homestead.
