God is blessing. We thought we would only get 200 bales of hay from our patch and it turned into over 500 bales. It was quite an operation. Luke was in charge of the production and he sure knows his stuff.
Gwen, Donald, Luke's Dad, John Wright, Halee, Elijah and Dusty all got their hands in on the action. Thanks to all the help.

God working
I have been believing the Lord would help us pay off the farm in half the time. So checked with bank and if we make biweekly payments we can go from 20 years to 17.3 years and save $31,377. Praise the Lord. We are on our way with the Lord leading the way.

A beautiful April Day
Halee and I took a load from Kelly Drive to the farm. We went to Kroger's and bought food for breakfast and lunch.
Luke took a load to the Preble County dump. Gwen came over with Luke's dad and she helped me unload the truck. Leslie came and worked on prepping back room to paint. She scrapped the trim, doors and chalked the doors.
Luke bought a rake and elevator at the auction on Frazee Road. I bought a hay wagon.
I worked on wiping down the back porch. Cleaned the windows in kitchen and back porch. Luke started framing the ceiling for drywall.
It was definitely a busy day. Thank you Lord for this great day.

More rehab
Gwen had Twila and Clay watch Malia and Elijah. She went to the farm to start stripping wood trim from upstairs. I ordered an Ohio Century Farm sign should be here in two weeks.
Gwen had to go to Oxford to get more stripper. She bought wasp spray and dust to put on wood boring yellow jackets.
I worked on spraying wasps, and yellow jackets.
Stopped by Rodbro insurance to sign insurance policy. The Lord saved us around $300 on insurance. Matt from Rodbro said when I added Gwen & Luke they must have had a GREAT credit score because it made the rates really drop.
OH YEAH - Randy buzzed the farm in airplane. It was funny.
Nice weather. 70's.

More moving
Saturday was a beautiful day, around 70 degrees. We got up around 7:30. Donald helped me move dresser downstairs. We then went to the farm and picked up the Sooner. We went to Crystal's and picked up the shelving unit and gates and took those to the farm.
From their we went back to Kelly Drive. We loaded up dresser and most of the items from the garage. Leslie helped load the trailer and bumped her ear. We then loaded Donald's little trailer with mattresses and their white bench. Donald and I took the trailers to the farm and set up the shelving unit.
Luke bought a hay conditioner at an auction in Reily. (John Deere, 1997). He dropped it off at the farm. Donald and LUke carried the bagged up plaster down to the dump trailer.
Kate and Russell stopped in to see us. Crystal, Halee and Gabby came to help put tubs away. It was a busy day.

Rehab on McCreary Homestead
It is Friday and can't wait to get to the farm and keeping working. It is so exciting. I will go to Lowe's and order out a refrigerator. We will get a $100 rebate. God just keeps blessing us with these unexpected funds.
We are working inside on the top level. Taking out plaster in two bedrooms.

Victory Affirmation of Prayer - The signs are coming down
The auction of McCreary Homestead was held in Eaton Ohio on March 22, 2010. Gwen and Luke Thacker and myself were able to purchase 68 acres of the original McCreary Homestead. We are thanking God and giving him all the glory, praise, and thanks for making this happen in our lives. He has guided as through the last three years. What a VICTORY.
So on March 23, 2010 Kramer Auctioneers came to take down the auction signs. Halee and Elijah got to help. Hallelujah.
